On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Pompeo Pianezzola (1925 – 2012), the Civic Museums of Bassano del Grappa are organizing a special conference celebrating the life and works of this renowned master of ceramics. Born in Nove in 1925, Pianezzola attended the local School of Art and later the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, becoming a prominent figure in the Italian and international artistic scene.
Speaker: Nico Stringa, former Professor of Contemporary Art History at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
This event is part of the series "Incontrarsi al Museo di Bassano. Musei, mostre, restauri" (Meeting at the Bassano Museum: Museums, Exhibitions, Restorations), dedicated to exploring masterpieces and artists from all periods, as well as key topics related to cultural heritage.
