From October 25, 2025 to February 22, 2026<\/strong>, the Civic Museum of Bassano del Grappa<\/strong> will host one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the Italian art scene: a major show dedicated to Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899)<\/strong>, master of Divisionism<\/strong> and unparalleled interpreter of the relationship between man, nature, and the mountains.<\/p>\n

A unique retrospective on Segantini<\/h2>\n

More than ten years after the last exhibition dedicated to him, the showcase retraces the entire career of the Trentino painter, creating a dialogue between his works and those of the greatest European artists of the nineteenth century, including Millet<\/strong> and Van Gogh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be able to admire around 100 masterpieces<\/strong>, coming from Italian and European public and private collections \u2013 from the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay<\/strong> to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam<\/strong> \u2013 many of which are being displayed again after more than a century.<\/p>\n

The exhibition itinerary<\/h2>\n

Organized into four chronological and geographical sections, the exhibition tells:<\/p>\n

  • The \u201cscapigliati\u201d and pastoral beginnings.<\/li>\n
  • The luministic and coloristic experiments.<\/li>\n
  • The approach to Divisionism<\/strong>, with his research on light and color.<\/li>\n
  • The symbolic masterpieces dedicated to the mountain, celebrated as myth and absolute space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Collaborations and international prestige<\/h2>\n

    The exhibition is organized with the support of the Segantini Museum in St. Moritz<\/strong>, the Galleria Civica G. Segantini in Arco<\/strong>, and in collaboration with Dario Cimorelli Editore<\/strong>, which will also publish the official scientific catalog.<\/p>\n

    Dal 25 ottobre 2025 al 22 febbraio 2026<\/strong>, il Museo Civico di Bassano del Grappa<\/strong> ospita una delle esposizioni pi\u00f9 attese del panorama artistico italiano: una grande mostra dedicata a Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899)<\/strong>, maestro del Divisionismo<\/strong> e interprete ineguagliabile del rapporto tra uomo, natura e montagna.<\/p>\n

    Una retrospettiva unica su Segantini<\/h2>\n

    A oltre dieci anni dall\u2019ultima esposizione a lui dedicata, la rassegna ripercorre l\u2019intera carriera del pittore trentino, in un percorso che mette in dialogo le sue opere con quelle dei maggiori artisti europei dell\u2019Ottocento, tra cui Millet<\/strong> e Van Gogh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Il visitatore potr\u00e0 ammirare circa 100 capolavori<\/strong>, provenienti da collezioni pubbliche e private italiane ed europee \u2013 dal Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay<\/strong> al Rijksmuseum di Amsterdam<\/strong> \u2013 molti dei quali tornano visibili dopo oltre un secolo.<\/p>\n
